Superior Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to sell recruitment services to prospecting clients in the United States of America, initially working from home full time with a string focus on clientele in Houston and the state of Texas.
If you are from the recruitment sector that would be hugely advantageous, but not a pre-requisite.
What is critical is your previous record in successful sales, outbound sales, turning strangers into invoices. You will be approaching various levels of stakeholders in businesses across a number of sectors, ranging from recruitment specific teams, HR, hiring managers, directors and business owners,
Salary is between $60,000 and $100,000 depending on your experience plus a fantastic commission scheme on top.
Equity in the US entity is available from month 13 (start of your second year of employment subject to hitting agreed financial targets).
This role will be working from home initially but travel to clients’ offices will be expected, and costs covered by Superior Recruitment Group. Superior are a global recruitment businesses, head quartered in the UK and in January 2022 we launched our business in the USA where we have worked with a number of clients in the USA but currently all of the recruitment has been dealt with by our teams in the UK and the Philippines.
We are now at the stage of needing a full time Business Development Manager to aggressively attack a very busy market and location to help grow our presence in the region. The ability to cold call, sell our solutions and products and counter sell competition will all define your success in the role.
Training would be provided for someone not from the recruitment sector and it is likely you will be expected to come to our head office in Sunderland, United Kingdom for a week, all costs covered by Superior for training.
Travelling out to see potential and existing clients is also critical so a driving licence and car required (mileage and expenses fully provided by Superior Recruitment Group).
The recruitment agency world is very competitive and there are some wonderful businesses out there that we compete against and we have a huge challenge to stand out in this market, the only way we can do so is by being “Superior.”
When we win client’s we rarely lose them, despite Covid Superior had a record-breaking year but with a very small team but we need to be working with more businesses.
We are now committed to a growth plan and this hire is critical to our success. Monday to Thursday 8.-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8-3pm on a Friday.
Our clients, both current and in our target audience work within:
Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Engineering and Manufacturing, HR, Finance and office support functions, Corporate and boardroom, Chemicals
You will be involved with cold calling, reaching out to dormant clients, supporting growth and penetration with existing clients, attending networking events, devising a sales strategy and involved in, and leading sales meetings internally.
Training will be given on how recruitment agencies operate in terms of making money, processes, payroll, compliance, headhunting, candidate management, payroll and all supporting administration involved.
