Superior Recruitment Group are looking for a Construction Manager to support our client initially on a 4 - 6 month contract basis based in Teesside.
Minimum Requirements:
Typically Chartered Eng. Status, BTEC (Higher) or equivalent
NEBOSH general Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely
Experience of leading construction campaigns on upper tier COMAH facilities or large-scale projects
Detailed knowledge of industry specific legislation including the application of CDM 2015 as Principal Contractor
HSSE excellence through direct and indirect support to surveillance, inspection, and engagement programs
Promote Life Saving Rules and Behavioural Safety Engagements
Manage and coordinate a multi discipline Construction Management Team reporting to the Project Manager
Direct coordination with Project, HSSE, Project Controls, Control of Work, Quality Assurance, Completions and Commissioning Teams
Responsibility for work delivery of responsible Construction Contractors
Development of resource estimates and managing budgets
Development of robust construction execution strategies in line with industry best practice
Coordinate, lead and communicate HAZCON and Constructability processes
Detailed understanding of construction schedules including logic, interdependency, and risk
Coordinate the engagement of support contactors, scopes, estimates, resources, and advanced work planning
Provide Construction Contractor RAMS peer review inputs in support of the HSSE Team
Lead and coordinate construction completion activities including ITR and NCR close out
