Superior Recruitment Group are looking for a Hydrogen Skills Academy Manager on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. This is a full time staff position.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing our client's new Hydrogen Skills Academy. Initially the focus will be building and delivering a competency framework for our client's existing internal workforce.. Thereafter, it’s likely that the focus will move to delivering competency offerings externally so a commercial astute individual is essential.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
To support the development and delivery of a range of specific training and competency deliverables with respect to the energy transition and associated client Hydrogen skills requirements
To establish and cement strong relationships at appropriate leadership and management levels within our client's key customers (with particular emphasis on the main operator companies and Training Management Service Companies (TMS’s) and other key stakeholders and industry/governmental bodies
In line with the above, drive a clear and well-defined capability and commercial growth strategy for the Hydrogen Skills academy
To assume overall responsibility and accountability for the effective implementation of, and compliance with, our client's Competency Management System and all regulatory and accreditation bodies requirements.
To ensure the fostering and underpinning culture of continuous improvement within the Hydrogen skills academy and across the wider client competency management system.
To ensure the effective management of all Hydrogen skills academy staff, with a particular emphasis in ensuring delivery of the key responsibilities and objectives of the Group Training Lead in accordance with the requirements of its respective job description.
Play a key leadership role in driving positive engagement with regards to continuous improvement, competency management, and the achievement of the highest competency standards in line with stated objectives.
Substantial experience at a management / senior management level, either in a vocational or organisational competency setting.
A demonstrable track record of leadership, Training & Competency development, and from a more general managerial / commercial perspective.
Exemplary leadership qualities and characteristics with the means to ensure achievement of the stated purpose and overall responsibilities of the role, whilst driving strong commercial growth, underpinned by a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and build rapport with other managers and Directors within our client's business and key strategic customers and maintain the external relationships consistent with the goals, philosophies, and desired brand image of the Company.
A good understanding of, and ideally experience of working with and developing occupational standards in a vocational environment and in the context of defining, implementing and executing improvement strategies and plans and the achievement of associated initiatives and objectives.
Experience in the implementation of innovative technologies to support the learning process, VR, AR, Digital Twin
