​Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Land Rights Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Milton Keynes. This is a full time permanent role.

We are currently looking for a suitably skilled person to join the existing customer connections process support team who collectively undertake a range of activities and processes to support the company’s activities. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge and experience of the Land Rights / legal access requirements & process including a detailed knowledge of the requirement and process of preparing plans and deed documents including liaising with external legal services to complete engrossments. The candidate should be someone with their own initiative who enjoys being a valuable member of a small team supporting each other with tasks and processes across the business.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing standard template title deeds and engrossment plans

  • Liaison with landowners’ legal team and our own contracted solicitors to discuss, negotiate and agree deed structure and acceptable clauses and conditions

  • Complete standard land registry searches and liaise with Land Registry as required

  • Providing management reports and monitoring of performance with respect to project and programme legal progress and performance

  • Liaise with and monitor costs of legal facilitators and solicitors by project and programme of works

  • Respond to enquiries and chase correspondence between all parties and provide regular updates as required by all

  • Support data management for internal and external reporting

  • Liaise with and gather information from external field-based operations to ensure systems are updated

  • Provide general administration support to the organisation where required

  • Experience

Essential Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of the following processes and requirements

  • Title deed purchase

  • Deed of Easement

  • Lease and sublease

  • Wayleave

  • General access rights

  • Access agreement

  • General computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications and tools and document filing systems

  • Comfortable in using oral and written communications media to interface with suppliers, customers, clients and general public enquiries

Desirable:

  • Experience of legal conveyancing in the utility sector

  • Ability to prioritise work activity to deliver business requirements

  • Work flexibly either under supervision or on own initiative as required
