​Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. This is a full time permanent role.

The main responsibilities:

  • Management and leadership of the Engineering team.

  • Technical Lead for the systems and services being delivered:

  • Technical input for design

  • Technical Authority for Systems Engineers

  • Review and Approval of documentation

  • Ensure the design is safe, cost effective and fit for purpose.

  • Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures

  • Plan and allocate Engineers for the projects and services for efficient utilisation of the team.

  • To provide technical assurance to projects and review previous lessons learned to improve the project delivery.

  • Management and delivery of projects to meet the customer’s requirements within the agreed budget and schedule

  • Management of the on call Engineer rota and ensuring support calls are completed and closed.

  • Development of quotes and tenders to meet Customer specifications. • Support the strategic development of the team and business promoting it both within the wider company and to customers.

  • Must work in line with the Company and project Health Safety, Quality and Environmental Assurance Procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree/HND level in an appropriate subject or equivalent experience

  • TUV or similar Functional safety qualification preferred

  • Experience working in an engineering environment, ideally in the energy sector

  • CEng preferred (but not essential)

  • Experience in reviewing and approving Engineering deliverables

  • Competent with MS Office applications

  • Fluent in English

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK

This role is based in Aberdeen with Hybrid work available.
