​Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier on behalf of our client based in Newcastle. This is a permanent position with full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00.

The role

  • Processing bank reconciliations

  • Posting credits and debits into both client and office accounts

  • Processing BACS/CHAPS/FASTER PAYMENTS/INTERNATIONAL payments

  • Inputting purchase ledger invoices

  • Posting client bills

Person specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced Legal Cashier

  • Have knowledge the Solicitors Accounts Rules;

  • Have excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word, use of CMS, and Excel if possible;

  • Have experience of Leap and Xero,

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Have a professional telephone manner;

  • Be proactive and able to use their own initiative;

  • Be very organised;

  • Be able to work well under pressure;

  • Have a willingness to adapt;

  • Be someone who works well within a team environment;

  • Be someone keen to learn new skills and be open to development and training;

  • Have at least 5 GCSEs A-C grades including in English and Maths
