Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Mechanical Rotating Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client based in Westhill. This is a full time permanent role.
Our client are looking for Mechanical Rotating Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the Maintenance Preparation Team leader, responsible for delivery of day-to-day maintenance support duties assigned by the lead engineer for all rotating equipment types on the Platform. Additionally, they are responsible for assisting the Rotating Equipment Technical Authorities, and Reliability Engineers in the development of maintenance strategies and associated maintenance routines. The Mechanical Rotating Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the Maintenance Planner to ensure that short and long-term maintenance activities are identified, prioritised, planned and executed.
Details/duties:
Provision of day-to-day mechanical rotating engineering support for the Platform
Maintenance of close links with Technical Authorities to ensure that system integrity is preserved
Ensuring that all planned turbines and rotating work scopes are identified and included in short and long-term asset plans
Challenging maintenance activities and applying risk-based techniques to optimise maintenance activities and periodicities
Compilation of work packs for offshore review and subsequent implementation
Liaison with RTLs, OTLs and offshore technicians to resolve mechanical rotating equipment problems
Coordination of vendor requirements to support mechanical rotating equipment planned and corrective maintenance activities
Maintaining close liaison with reliability engineers to support reliability improvement programmes, RCM analyses and maintenance strategy development
Participation in RCA processes and investigations
Assist in performance of rotating equipment maintenance and spares reviews
Ensuring satisfactory close out of all actions identified in all work scopes
Preparation of regular report requirements by due dates and specific reports by the agreed date
Preparation and management of delegated cost centre budgets
Experience required:
Proven Oil & Gas industry experience in a similar position
BSC Engineering discipline/Master of Engineering
Experience in leading maintenance activities
Experience in Oil & Gas maintenance engineering
Significant experience in large rotating equipment
Budget & stakeholder management
Strong interpersonal, communication skills both verbally and written whilst building/maintaining relationships
Team working, building, and maintaining effective working relationships
HSE & Quality awareness
