Superior Recruitment Group are working alongside our longstanding client of ours to assist them in the recruitment of an Operations Assistant to join their facility based in Sheffield. This is a full time permanent role.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the fuel is delivered correctly to the fuel hall and the fuel feed is ensured and maintained.
Duties include but not limited too:
To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, complying with all Health, Safety and quality policies and procedures
Supervise the reception, banking, unloading/loading and departure of Holbrook Biomass wood fuel, ash removal and chemical delivery vehicles in adherence to the site traffic safety plan and relevant QA procedures. Safe weighbridge operations to record fuel, ash and chemical quantities.
Effective cleaning of all production plant areas ensuring wood dust is kept to a minimum and to assist Shift Controllers with boiler blowdowns to help maximise plant efficiency.
Work closely with members of the Operation team & Maintenance team and at times be expected to support these other members when workloads dictate.
Responsible for the reception of wood delivery vehicles at the weighbridge.
Qualifications and requirements:
L2 Qualification in process or technical discipline.
FLT licence desirable
Trained Banksman
