​Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Operations Manager for our client based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full time staff role.

Principal duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintenance and continual improvement of company’s safety, quality and environmental system and retention of certification

  • Support annual DNV/ISO audit for 9001, 14000, 45000

  • Act as a focal person that supports the partner network

  • Lead accident, incident and non-conformance investigations

  • Develop and deliver annual operation budgets plans

  • Analyse gaps in performance against budget, implementation of delivery of remediation plans

  • Assist with Sales budget plan

  • Management of operational resources and maximizing productivity to support better operational efficiencies

  • Providing a leadership support function to manage, develop and mentor the regional team

  • Liaise with Operations Supervisors on planning of daily operations/production tasks

  • Ensure facilities and equipment onsite is adequate for daily operations

  • Manage relationships with key accounts and clients

  • Manage relationships with key vendors and ensure deliverable standards are upheld

  • Support Sales & Business Development department in delivery of customer requirements/tenders

  • Liaise with other Operations Managers to meet business requirements

  • Liaise with Senior Management to provide business updates as required

  • Managing local procurement in line with the company procedure

  • Managing all grievances and disciplinaries in conjunction with HR

  • Conduct annual staff performance appraisals of all reports in the operations team

  • Support the international movement & logistics of CCU’s around the globe

  • Support the finance team and operations administration team with the production of timely requirements for month end closing obligations

  • Meet report deadlines and perform under pressure by prioritizing tasks for efficiency

  • Develop the partner support network in the Middle Easts geographies of operations

  • Ensure the accuracy of the operations system CSAM, become a champion of the system

Key skills and attributes required for this position include:

  • 10 Years previous Middle East experience in an operations management role, including management of people/teams with a proven track record

  • Previous background in Equipment rental

  • Good understanding of HSEQ requirements

  • Previous experience of Management systems

  • MS Office proficient

  • Adaptable and proactive approach to challenges and problem solving

  • Experience of international supply chain logistics

  • Planning Skills

  • Teamwork and cross departmental collaboration work ethic

  • Leadership skills in a multi-cultural team

  • Excellent Leadership & communications skills to support a diverse & dynamic team

  • Spoken and written Arabic preferable but not essential.
