​Superior Recruitment Group is looking for an experienced Payroll Tax Specialist on behalf of our client based in Tampa, Florida. This is a full time staff position.

My client is looking for a Payroll Tax Specialist who has experience of Multi-state taxes. Our client has been successfully operating for over 20 years and is growing. They offer great benefits, compensation, opportunity to grow.

The Role

Payroll tax specialist report to the payroll tax manager who reports to the Controller, Payroll Tax Operations (who reports to CFO). Also reporting to CFO is our Treasury/Funding Operations (think bankers) and Financial Reporting (think accountants) so there are plenty of advancement opportunities. Our client has great company paid benefits (Humana health), aggressive PTO, 401k matching with immediate vesting. The environment is business casual with a healthy blend of family feel/with practical professional standards, very fast paced for performance, EOQ work filing spikes, notices, amendments are the norm for any payroll tax filing professional.   • Onsite/hybrid-preferred

  • Key requirement is 2+ years of multi-state payroll tax filing, hands-on (NOT using ADP, Paychex...that’s what we do for our clients)

  • Preferred experience is using MasterTax software

  • Comp range is up to $35/hour DOE.
