Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a full time permanent role.
Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring electrical engineering risk management, compliance & governance are understood and managed in line with best practice and regulatory engineering practices, standards and processes across all operations.
Major duties will include:
Lead the understanding of electrical management systems, ensuring engineering related risks to people, environment, plant & business are understood & managed systematically & effectively.
Provide company-wide discipline governance, assurance, compliance and risk identification and quantification.
Support electrical engineering capability across company & as required engineering resourcing and development – both company and third-party contract support for technical assurance and other activities
Provide or lead procurement of suitable and sufficient discipline engineering verification for studies, process safety support for projects and modifications and provide technical assurance as required to operations.
Lead process assurance activities delivering compliance with level 2 engineering practices, standards and processes. Monitor audit conclusions for wider group learning and follow-up actions. Participate in other audit or assurance activities as requested by the regulatory authority.
