​Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Project Planner on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave working full time hours.

Purpose of the role:

This role reports directly to the lead planner and is responsible for improving workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts/materials and equipment access and supporting the lead planner in day to day project planning and reporting.

Duties include:

  • Be the contact and liaison between Maintenance, Operations and relevant Team Leads, ensuring a timely, efficient and quality service

  • Assist Operations with their need for equipment reliability through proactive maintenance

  • Provide maintenance advice to operations, projects and team leads

  • Maintain accurate backlog status, reporting completions promptly

  • Prepare work packages for planned maintenance activities

  • Order and receive required materials to assist and support maintenance activities

  • Any other duties as required by the Lead Planner, Maintenance Manager and Senior Management

Required Experience:

  • Experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, any relevant planning software

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry

  • Team working, building and maintaining effective working relationships

  • Experience preparing work packages
