​Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Technical Admin on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. This is a full time staff position.

Job Summary

The successful applicant will report directly to the Workshop Manager and will support him by managing all administrative tasks required for the smooth running of the branch. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • General administration duties, such as filing, scanning etc

  • Answer incoming phone calls and take messages when required

  • Place ad-hoc purchase orders for consumables

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery

  • Book transport for finished goods to customers

  • Liaise with Consett office for transfer of parts between the branches

  • Using Excel to raise Bill of Materials

  • Typing inspection and build reports on Word for customer

  • Tracking deliveries

  • Manage workwear

  • Order stationery


  • Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.

  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)

  • Experience of an ERP system

  • Self-motivated, structured, organised and process oriented.

  • Enthusiastic team player who is commercially aware.

  • Good IT knowledge, be PC and systems literate, especially MS Word and Excel

  • Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organisation.

  • Fully committed to Quality, Cost and Delivery

  • An accurate and flexible approach to all matters

  • Unflappable and cool during busy periods

  • Have a professional manner when dealing with both customers and suppliers

  • Ability to work within a small but multi-disciplined team

  • Robust and determined

  • Mechanical Engineering background
